Open WoundClot Trauma and pull Gauze by the folded end, placing it gently into the wound site (No need to dry the surface area prior to application).
Carefully insert the gauze into the wound making sure entire wound cavity is full and in contact with the gauze (do not break the interaction with the tissue).
Once placed, make sure the product is static in the wound (do not apply pressure inwards into the wound). Depending on the severity of the bleeding it may take up to 3 mins to see a decrease in blood flow, do not remove the dressing during this time.
You may cover the product imbedded in the wound with a bandage but do not apply massive pressure.
If the product has disconnected from the bleeding site, or the blood flow has not reduced after 3 mins, take it out and put a new one.
Rinse the product out gently when required once reaching medical attention. The product will not disturb the clot if rinsed away properly and carefully.
